	Automation Unattended encoding is done withe ase using Fathom's watch folder feature. Simply specify your watch folder location and assign job templates to the watch folder. Fathom will monitor the watch folder for any new media asset and initiate jobs based on your templates whenever new media is found. Using the Queue function you can also reprioritize jobs without removing them from the Queue.
	Seen by Scene segment re-encoding Don't waste time re-encoding entire clips. Use Seen by Scene to select individual segments of an encoded file, then re-encode just the selected segments, not the entire clip.
	Regulatory compliance and changing standards Support captioning with SAMI, Open or CEA 608 and 708 Closed Captioning modes. Fathom recognizes that source captioning information can come from several locations: Tape, source media file or stand alone captioning file. Whichever workflow you have - Fathom has you covered.
	Encode and archive Manage your encoding jobs while simultaneously creating a digital archive. Digital archiving can be done in uncompressed or high bit rate compressed formats.
